Tasting Room: ceremony space
Our Tasting Room at our Shady Lane location offers a stunning setting for your wedding ceremony. The space is designed with flexibility in mind, offering three unique layout options to suit your vision. While it can host up to 200 guests in a theater-style arrangement, the Tasting Room’s intimate atmosphere also makes it an ideal choice for smaller, more personal weddings.

Our ceremony space offers the perfect foundation for a celebration that’s as unique as you are. The venue comes with an eclectic mix of seating for 50 guests—each chair a unique piece handpicked to add character and warmth to our venue space. If you prefer a more polished, uniform look, we’ll work with you directly to connect with our trusted rental partners, bringing your vision to life with the perfect chairs to align with your, colors, and style to match your vibe.

At Wanderlust Wine Co., we’re a family-owned winery with a passion for sourcing exceptional wines from around the world. Our Shady Lane location features 80 unique wines available through our innovative self-pour tap wall, offering a truly interactive tasting experience for your guests. When booking our venue, we do implement a bar minimum for wine, wine-based beverages, beers, and non-alcoholic options. While we specialize in wine, if you’re looking for custom cocktails, we’ll partner with our trusted third-party bartending service to create your perfect signature drinks for the big day. Whether you’re a wine lover or want something more spirited, we’ve got you covered.

We’re proud to connect you with a curated list of trusted vendors—caterers, florists, photographers, entertainers, videographers, transportation providers, stationery designers, bartenders, photobooth companies, and more—all highly experienced in creating unforgettable events, many of whom have worked in our space. That said, we welcome creative collaborations and are happy to work with your preferred vendors. At Wanderlust, our focus is on ensuring your wedding day is as stress-free and memorable as possible, with a team and space that set you up for success.
Please note that while our Event Director handles the venue-side essentials—coordinating vendor logistics, ensuring seamless setup, and managing guest experience—this role is not the same as a wedding planner. We strongly recommend hiring a professional planner or month-of coordinator to manage all event details and pull your vision together.
Our venue offers everything you need to create the perfect atmosphere for your celebration. From auxiliary tables for food and soft seating for a cozy, intimate vibe to in-house sound and versatile lighting arrangements, every detail is designed to set the mood. Dance the night away beneath the enchanting glow of our disco ball installation, or take center stage on our built-in stage complete with an illuminated DJ booth—ideal for DJs or as a stunning backdrop for your band to elevate your big day.
Step into our laid-back yet vibrant venue, where wine barrel tables and barstools—comfortably seating 150—are included in your venue rental. Additional cocktail tables and lounge areas provide plenty of room for standing and mingling, ensuring your guests have space to relax and connect. Located in East Austin, we offer ample street parking along Shady Lane and Gonzales Street, with a neighborhood layout that's motorcoach-friendly to ensure safe and seamless transportation for your guests.
Our ground-level green room is an added perk, designed with flexibility in mind. It’s perfect for vendors to securely store essential equipment, a space for performers to recharge with a meal or break, or a quiet, low-sensory retreat for elderly guests, children, or anyone needing a moment of calm.

Prefer a blank canvas? No problem. Our Event Director can provide an estimate for removing all existing furniture and resetting the space after your wedding, including labor fees. Your day should be as unique as your love story—and we're here to make it happen.
At Wanderlust your wedding day is your moment. We book only one wedding per day, ensuring our team’s full attention is on you—no rushing, just seamless celebrations. Your rental includes a 10-hour window for setup, ceremony, reception, and breakdown. Need a little extra time to make your vision come to life?
